So how do you effectively deal with the hair down there? There are guys who will simply tackle it head on by standing with a razor somewhere in the corner of their bathroom. It does not matter what method you are going to use but then reducing the amount of hair in your pubic area is extremely beneficial. It will also increase the sensuality and fluidity that is required during those intimate moments with your partner. There are various way to do it and we look at some with the pros and the cons of each.

It’s time to remove it

This is one tricky thing that we have deal with every other time before we discover what it is that works best for us. There are several options and they all have their own degrees of difficulty or simplicity with pros and cons. You need to be acquainted with all of then so that you can select the one that is best appealing to you. So here we go:

Trimming

For men, this is the simplest way to take care of your pubic hair and cutting away all that stuff that you do not want there. There two affordable options for you here.  Scissors or an electric trimmer: Scissors are ok if only your hands are skilled at handling them but then an electric trimmer would be highly recommended for clearing the bush of pubic hair. As for the scissors, apart from being dangerous to wield in such a sensitive area, they always result in a very uneven and poor looking finished work that defeats the purpose unless you are extremely careful.

Pros: This is an affordable option and can be bought and kept without any embarrassment. With the trimmer you can easily get a uniform and complementary length of hair and maintenance is quite easy.

Cons: You need to clean up the mess since you trim the hair when it is dry and with scissors you can easily end up with a choppy looking bush that becomes funny instead of alluring. Maintenance may require a regular job to be repeated every 12 to 14 days.

Shaving

This has been a popular instrument of choice for ages for removing pubic hair. Most guys only know this technique for grooming that area. Shaving not only gives you a super clean hygienic look but also you get to do it quietly in your bathroom.  This works too well for many guys. For better results you can try using a women’s razor halfway through a hot shower.

Pros: It is a simple familiar procedure that does not take too much of your time and leaves the skin around your penis and scrotum smooth and appealing to touch. As it can be done in the shower there is never too much clean to be done.

Cons: It may leave your skin with some irritations such as razor burns, rashes and ingrown hair and usually requires a regular and continuous upkeep and will most likely be itchy as it grows back.

Depilatories

There are many of these in the market today and some are even specifically made for men and guys are really enjoying using them to clean up their pubic areas. These creams simply dissolve the hair then it can be wiped out easily. They will cost a little more than trimmers or razors but will lessen the time you will use in the upkeep. While they may look better to use for those areas around your precious goods it would be  wise for you teat it in a small area then wait for about two days and check any reaction with your skin.

Pros: it is pain free and easy to afford and lasts longer than shaving and trimming. When hair grows back it grows softer and less coarse than it does with shaving.

Cons: it can be harsh to the skin so you need to be extra careful and there should be possibilities you are allergic to them and develop some itchy reaction to the cream. There is also some unpleasant as side effect for you to deal with.

Waxing

For a long time waxing has been a woman’s thing to do but then gender equality seems to catching up on it. Men have also discovered the benefits of waxing such as a smooth skin and longer lasting results. It is by the way the last stop before permanent hair removal and so it is loaded with advantages. The downside with waxing can be the pain that is involved and can be expensive as well. It has its sweet and sour sides so you have to make a choice.

Pros: Te results will last you two to four weeks and a continuing waxing seems to diminish hair growth over time. There many waxing salons that cater specifically for men and they provide the expertise. Waxing can also be done at home when you have learned the ropes and will give you the privacy you need apart from saving the costs.

Cons: it is painful and expensive while the outcome is equal to the cheaper and gentler options. Women dominate waxing salons and so you will be ready to share your business if you venture that way. The skin around your testicles can be sensitive and then some waxing salons won’t agree to wax this area.

Electrolysis

This one gives you the chance to say goodbye to that bush forever. You may need only one visit to say goodbye to your pubic hair for good. Although your visit could last for hours and it wont be a ride in the park as well. So if you want to forget the whole thing then electrolysis is the thing t do.

Pros: it is a permanent option and so you say farewell to your pubic hair and requires only one treatment.  It works well to remove any color of pubic hair.

Cons: it is one expensive option and so get prepared to pay for it as well and the treatment can last up to 12 hours. It will cause much more discomfort than some other procedures but not as much as waxing.

So men you have your choices there. Let the area down under be clean once and for all.
